Description

This is a digitized image of a printed paper map of the East Toronto, Ontario region (Sheet No. 030M11F,C), published in 1963. It is the second edition in a series of maps, which show both natural and man-made features such as relief, spot heights, administrative boundaries, roads, railways, trails, waterways, buildings, terrain, and land formations. It was taken as part of a survey commissioned by the Canadian Army Survey Establishment (A.S.E.). These various surveys were under the Surveys and Mapping Branch of the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources, Government of Canada. Original maps were digitally scanned and georeferenced as part of the Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL) Historical Topographic Map Digitization Project.
