This is a reprint of the original Reichsamt fur Landesaufnahme map by the Institute of Applied Geodesy, now Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy. Heydebreck-Cosel and Blechhammer, in present-day Kedzierzyn-Kozle, were subcamps of Auschwitz III-Monowitz concentration camp operational from as early as April 1944, to as late as March 17-18, 1945. It housed labour camps (Arbeitslager) that produced chemicals. Cosel can be seen on Topographische Karte Sheet 5674.
