Trenches to 1st April 1917. OS May 1917. [Enlarged from 1:10,000 trench maps]. German trenches red, with names blue. British front & support trenches in blue. Metre gauge railway in red., Location: Research Collections; Fonds: WW1 Trench Maps: France; Box number: PC14; envelope_number: 384, Manuscript on face: blue & green pencil boundaries and markings 1, 2, 3, 4 & HQ, for attack by British battalion (?) across Mortar and Sloping Roof Farms and Intermediate Trench (added in red pencil with name added in pen) N of Messines. Manuscript on reverse: "Signalling Officer. Marked."
