Includes descriptive notes and sailing directions, and a list of symbols used in the atlas. A more extensive list of symbols or references appears at the beginning of each volume of the atlas. The date of imprint, March 20, 1774, is the earliest date on any chart in the Atlantic Neptune. Also includes a view of a ship off Tree Top Island. State two is distinguished by latitude and longitude lines."
